As Boyz II Men said, "It's so hard to say goodbye..."
The little old Korean woman who works the counter at my drycleaner always has to get in the last goodbye. Or in her case, "goobye".
The other day she said "HaveNiceDayGoobye" as she handed me my change. I said "Thanks, you too. Goodbye" and started walking away.
"ThankYouGoobye!".
I gave her another "goodbye" over my shoulder as I headed out the door.
"HoppyThanksgivingGOOBYE!!!" she yelled as the door closed behind me.
I took a few steps and then snuck back to the door, opening it just a couple of inches. "GOODBYE! Gotcha!!!"
I quickly closed the door but she still waved and mouthed another "goobye" through the window.
I win.
